Maritime agency “Pallada” was established in June 2001. The main activity of the agency is the employment of officers and ratings. Our activities starts with providing by seafarers of the fishing fleet in the economic zones of Mauritania, Morocco and Senegal.    From 2001 to 2004 we had a cooperation with arabian shipowner, where have worked Kaliningrads seafares on tankers at United Arab Emirates.    From 2006 to 2011, we have signed contract with canadian company and sent to Sourise, Prince Edward Island for working at the factory for processing lobster. There worked not only seafares, but also other workers, preference was for family couples. Thereby, we have come over the procedure of issuing canadian working visa. More than 100 people were sent at the same to this factory in 2008. In order to prevent illegal immigration factory workers, we have signed contracts with three Canadian immigration companies, for providing the official immigration service.    Since January 2013 was established contracts with some German and Swedish ship owners, supplementing  our sphere of activities with refrigerating vessels, container ships, bulk carriers, multipurpose and  general cargo vessels. Also we have a cooperation with reefer fleet ship owners of Lithuania and Estonia.    In 2014-15 began to cooperate with offshore companies UAE and Kazakhstan. Activities in this sphere was suspended, because the crisis in the oil industry have come.    We have Cadets program which allows to pass the practice and getting professional experience future navigators, engineers and electrical engineers from maritime academy and institute of Kaliningrad. They get practice on bulk carriers, container ships and multipurpose vessels of German ship owner.        At this time we take part in providing  with marine stuff the project of reconstructing of factories for the processing of fish and shrimps in Ziginchor, Republic of Senegal.
